2000 Cabernet Sauvignon, St. Helena
Our first release—a 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley—is
made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that come from a celebrated
vineyard located along the Silverado Trail in St. Helena. Southwest-facing,
this vineyard is very well known for its voluptuous, silky red wines. Our
2000 Cabernet Sauvignon is no exception. Both complex and delicate,
we love this wine for its inviting bouquet, its complex, unfolding
body, and its lingering dancing on the palate. Great color and
nice tannins complete this vintage. Overall, its elegance shines
through exceedingly well!
Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, the 2000 Morey Cellars Cabernet
